1. Be human, not harmful
Write as though a real person will receive your words, because one will. Disagreement and difficult feelings are allowed. Harassment, intimidation, humiliation, bullying, threats, or encouragement of violence are not.
2. Protect anonymity and privacy
Do not ask for or share phone numbers, email addresses, social handles, home or work addresses, precise locations, passwords, government identifiers, financial details, or another person's private information. Do not try to identify, track, or contact an anonymous sender or recipient outside WarmNod.
3. Keep people safe
Do not post hateful or dehumanizing content, sexual exploitation, sexual content involving minors, grooming, credible threats, instructions for serious wrongdoing, scams, or content that promotes self-harm. Never use WarmNod to exploit or endanger a minor.
If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. WarmNod is not an emergency or crisis service.
4. Do not spam or manipulate
Do not advertise, solicit money, recruit, send repeated or automated messages, coordinate manipulation, evade daily limits, create accounts to avoid enforcement, or include malicious links or code.
5. Share only what is yours
Do not impersonate another person or share content that infringes intellectual property, confidentiality, or privacy rights. Keep sensitive personal or professional information out of bottles and replies.
6. Report and block responsibly
Use Report when content may violate these Guidelines. Use Block when you do not want to be matched with the sender again. Reports are confidential within the limits needed for review and legal compliance. Do not submit knowingly false or retaliatory reports.
7. How enforcement works
Content may be checked before or after delivery. Depending on severity, context, and history, WarmNod may reject content, end an encounter, prevent future matching, warn a member, apply a cooldown, suspend an account, or permanently ban an account. Serious safety risks may be escalated to appropriate authorities when legally required or reasonably necessary to prevent harm.
